GETTY IMAGES - PRICING CALCULATOR

The rights-managed portion of Getty Images business relies on its customers to price and license the images based on their usage. Providing an updated interface that allowed them to do just this successfully was my challenge.

As the lead UX designer on this project, I worked in tandem with other team members and business leads to conceptualize and iterate on various designs and prototypes. These were, in turn, tested both with local customers as well as on-site at several leading advertising firms. I participated in theses test and was able to see reactions first hand and provide immediate updates to our prototypes.

The previous calculator had been in place for nearly a decade - so we took great care in every design decision to be made as not to lose existing customers. In the end, we provided a user-tested solution that both fit the limitations of the technology and significantly improved its ease of use.
